These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of ExpenseTracker (the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1) The Service

ExpenseTracker provides tools to record expenses, view summaries and charts, and manage recurring EMI-style commitments. The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes. It is not financial, tax, or legal advice.

2) Accounts and access

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree to provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
• You may not use the Service for unlawful purposes or to violate any applicable laws.

3) Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users’ accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service (including overloading or abusing APIs).

You retain ownership of the expense and EMI data you submit to the Service. You grant us permission to process that data solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, storing entries, calculating totals, and rendering charts). Please avoid entering sensitive information in free-text fields (like passwords, bank account numbers, or government IDs).

5) Ads

Some pages may display Google-served ads (Google AdSense). Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your settings, location, and applicable laws. Third-party ad providers may use cookies as described in their own policies.

6) Disclaimer

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate. Your financial decisions are your responsibility; always verify totals and data, especially for important budgeting or payment decisions.
